Membership in Friend's Outdoor, Hiking, and Camping Club is a mere $15.00 per
person, or $25.00 per family, per year.
Non-members are always welcome on hikes ($3.00 charge), or at the monthly
meetings (free).
Monthly meetings are held to discuss past and plan future
activities, as well as to offer an opportunity for prospective members to
meet some of the existing club
members.
The meetings are at the Boulders On Broadway, 530 W. Broadway Rd, Tempe, (map) at 7pm, usually on the first Monday of the month. Note some holidays may effect this. Please check back here for updates, and always confirm the day of the meeting on our Newsletter. Contact us if you have questions. Non-members are welcome!
Our current club membership is about 60, made up of people from 25 to 65,
married and single, ranging from artists to engineers to trail bums!
Children are welcome on most hikes, but please bear in mind to match the
hike and youngster appropriately. Leash laws apply!
Dogs: Unless prohibited by the Hike Leader, well behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on hikes suitable for
them. That presumes that they are allowed per the managing agency (USFS,
BLM, etc.). Dog owners are responsible for "picking up after" their pets, and must obey all leash laws. Note pigs and other farm animals are not allowed.
